This creates varied runs where each wave feels different depending on the rewards you picked. Despite becoming powerful, you still have to be careful, as once Yoshiro dies, it’s game over.
The otherworld is a parallel dimension with uncanny differences. The enemies you’re going to encounter are quite different from the main story, so expect a difficult challenge. While this mode is endless with no pre-defined levels to complete, you can set yourself a personal goal of attaining a high score for each run just to see how far you can go and how your skills fare in high-intensity battles.
A year worth remembering
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the developers have added the Mazo Talisman: Yashichi Waves as a token of appreciation to its playerbase. It can be equipped by Soh, and doing so changes the background music of certain tracks in the game to retro 8-bit-style tunes. It’s a free item that players receive upon launching the game.
In addition, they also included a special photo frame camera that can be used with your mobile phone. This allows you to insert characters and other in-game elements into real-world photos that you’ve taken. This feature is advanced enough to make it look realistic, almost as if you’re with the actual characters themselves. You can even share the photos across social media for some laughs.
